National Centre for Tourist Information and Promotion Dorohoi
Dorohoi territorial administrative units implementing the “National Centre for Tourist Information and Promotion Dorohoi” SMIS code 52926, financed by the Regional Operational Programme 2007-2013, Priority 5 – Sustainable development and tourism, Area of Intervention 5.3 – “Promoting tourism potential and creating the necessary infrastructure to increase Romania’s attractiveness as a tourist destination “Operation Creating National Information Centres and Tourist Promotion (CNIPT) and their equipment.
The overall objective is to promote the tourism potential and creating the necessary infrastructure in Dorohoi to increase the attractiveness of tourism.
ObS1 – Creating a National Information Centre and Tourism Promotion in Dorohoi, over a period of 6 months;
ObS2 – Making endowments National Centre for Tourist Information and Promotion of Dorohoi to perform the activities of tourist information, a perioaă time of 4 months.

The proposed National Centre for Tourist Information and Promotion Dorohoi, fall in Operation Creating National Information Centres and Tourist Promotion ICNPIT) and dotarean them under KAI 5.3 “Promoting tourism potential and creating the necessary infrastructure to increase Romania’s attractiveness as a tourist destination “Axis 5 as the Regional Operational Programme 2007-2013 include:
> Construction of the National Center for Tourist Information and Promotion Dorohoi;
> Endowment National Centre for Tourist Information and Promotion Dorohoi;
> Create a database with tourist information of the Northeast region necessary for the Centre National Tourism Information and Promotion Dorohoi;
> Create a web site to promote existing regional tourist products.
Mission of tourist information and promotion DOROHOI
It is to promote Dorohoi as cultural value, historical, economical and ensure the indispensable link the city with tourists, making information more objective and complete, as well as the promotion of Dorohoi as a tourist destination through all available media.
The center will offer a full range of information needed tourist: accommodation, transport, sights, monuments and tourist attractions, offers the local, trips, tours, local community programs and events, maps, leaflets.
Tourism Information and Promotion Centre will be for Romanian and foreign tourists, starting in place of actual knowledge of the area and visiting the city and Dorohoi.
The draft proposed contribute to promoting regional economic development through the benefits they generate:
> Increase the number of tourists visiting the area that can be promoted and attracted to other targets
tourism development in the Northeast region;
> Increase in average length of stay locally – through the project proposed event
It takes place over several days;
> Increase awareness of tourism products specific to the Dorohoi and capitalization objectives;
> Increased demand for goods and services from other economic sectors (construction, light industry, cottage industries etc.);
> Increase the availability of tourists returning to the area, due to the discovery of new ways
leisure / stay;
> Creation of new permanent jobs in the Northeast Region;
> Providing an example of good practice for other sights and local authorities
Northeast Region regarding the need for and benefits of large-scale promotion of its objectives.
The target group
> 5,700 visitors to museums and public collections in Dorohoi until the end of 2018;
> Legal persons conducting economic activity and tourism in Dorohoi.

> 28 824 inhabitants of Dorohoi;
> 2833 tourists visitors Existing Dorohoi.
